View your maps on a phone or tablet

Your project runs right in your phone or tablet's web browser — there's nothing to install. Open your project link and everything is touch-first from the start.

Getting around by touch

Across every view, the gestures are the same:

1. Move around — drag with one finger.
2. Zoom — pinch with two fingers, double-tap to step in, or tap once with two fingers to step out.
3. Rotate a 3D view — twist with two fingers.
4. Tilt a 3D view — swipe up or down with two fingers.
5. Reset & undo — the toolbar at the bottom stays within thumb reach, so a fresh start is always one tap away.

What the tabs look like on a phone

The view tabs shrink to compact icons with short labels (2D, 360, 3D, PtCld, Splat, Oblq, Video, Cmp), so every view fits across the top at once — no side-scrolling. Tap any one to switch.

Which views run on a phone

• 2D Map, Ground View (360), Gaussian Splat, Flyover, and Compare all run smoothly right on your phone.
• 3D Model and Point Cloud are the heaviest loads. On a phone, instead of rendering in the browser, these tabs offer a download link so your device doesn't run out of memory. To fly those models interactively, open the project on a laptop, desktop, or tablet.
• Tablets (like an iPad) render the 3D Model in-browser. A large Point Cloud may still offer a download link instead — only streamed, tiled point clouds render on a tablet — so for heavy point-cloud work a laptop or desktop is best.

Best experience: For long working sessions with the 3D Model and Point Cloud — measuring, marking up, comparing flights — a laptop or desktop gives you the most room and the smoothest 3D. Your phone is perfect for a quick look, sharing, or checking a spot in the field.

Top-right controls on mobile

Phones show the same always-visible buttons desktop does — Fullscreen, Replay tour, Tips, QR, Saved Views, ⋯ (more) and Ask Ed LiDAR. There isn't room for all of them alongside the viewer tabs on a narrow screen, so the toolbar wraps and the buttons get their own row: the tabs keep the full width above them. The ⋯ menu holds Copy view link, Share presentation, Project details, Export and Screenshot.

On a desktop the toolbar fits the actions to the window: as it narrows the buttons drop their labels and become icons, and if it narrows further they move into the same ⋯ menu. The viewer tabs always keep their space — they never shrink to make room for the buttons. Fullscreen, Replay tour, Tips, QR, Saved Views and Ask Ed LiDAR always stay on the bar; hover any of them for a label.

Everything stays in sync

Anything you measure or note on your phone saves to the project automatically and shows up when you open it later on any device — and the same the other way around.
