Go fullscreen for a bigger view

When you want the map to fill your whole screen — for a closer look, a presentation, or just fewer distractions — use fullscreen mode.

Enter fullscreen

  1. Look at the cluster of buttons in the top-right corner of the viewer.
  2. Click the Fullscreen button (the outward-pointing-arrows / expand icon).
  3. The viewer expands to fill your entire display. Your tabs, tools, and toolbar all stay available — only the surrounding web page tucks away.

Exit fullscreen

Any of these bring you back to the normal page:

  • Click the same button again (it now shows an inward-arrows / collapse icon and reads Exit fullscreen).
  • Press the Esc key.

On a phone or tablet

Fullscreen works on touch devices too. On phones the top-right controls collapse to a Fullscreen button and a ⋯ (more) button. The menu holds Replay Tour, Copy view link, Share, Project Details, and Export; the Camera (screenshot) and Ask Ed buttons stay visible on their own. Saved Views and the tip cards are desktop-only.

Tip: Fullscreen pairs perfectly with a guided tour or a flyover video — start one, go fullscreen, and let it play across the whole screen.
