Need to get a map in front of a colleague, a lender, or a contractor? There are a few ways to do it depending on how much control you want. Here's the plain-English version.

The quickest ways (right from the viewer)

Open any project's viewer and use the buttons in the top toolbar:

• QR button (the little QR icon, always visible) — pops up a scannable QR code plus a Share button (it copies the link on desktop, or opens your device's share sheet on mobile). Perfect in the field: hand someone a phone, they scan, they're in.
• Copy view link (a labeled toolbar button on desktop; in the ⋯ more-actions menu on mobile) — copies a link that reopens the exact view you're looking at, right down to the camera angle on 3D models. Great for “look at this corner of the roof.”
• Share presentation — when a project has Ground View 360, this copies a link that opens straight into the branded Property Highlights walkthrough.
• Saved Views — save named snapshots of a specific view that anyone can jump back to, each with its own copy-link and QR.

Anyone you send these to still needs permission to open the project (see below).

Access codes vs. share links

There are two kinds of “keys” to a project:

Access code — the code from your welcome email. It's tied to you and opens your whole set of projects. You can forward a project link and the code, but everyone then shares one key you can't individually turn off. Better for people you fully trust.

Named share link — a purpose-built link we create for a specific audience (e.g. “GC walkthrough” or “Lender packet”). These are the safe way to share widely because each one is:

• Named, so you know who it was for.
• View-only or view + download — your choice.
• Time-limited — 7 days, 30, 90, a year, or no expiry.
• Revocable — it can be switched off at any time, and it stops working everywhere within about 30 seconds.

Getting a named share link

Named, revocable share links are created on the Embry side. Just tell us:

1. Which project to share.
2. Who it's for (a name for the link).
3. View-only or downloads allowed.
4. How long it should stay live.

We'll send you the link to forward. If you ever need it shut off or rotated to a fresh URL, say the word and the old one dies immediately.

Tip: For anything sensitive or wide-reaching — lenders, public boards, big contractor lists — ask for a named share link instead of passing around your access code. You keep the ability to turn it off later.
