Compare two scans and see what changed

With more than one flight of a property, the Compare tab sets two dates against each other to show what moved, grew or got built.

Open Compare

Compare is the split-rectangle tab, labeled Cmp on phones. It shows whenever your project has a 2D map.

• With one flight, it shows a satellite base map on the left and your drone map on the right, split by a slider.
• With two or more flights, you get the full set of tools below.

Pick your two dates

Pick dates with the Left scan and Right scan chips at the top. Either can be Satellite Base, to hold a flight against plain satellite imagery.

With three or more flights, a timeline appears along the bottom. Click a dot to load that date; the colored band shows the span you're comparing.

The two maps stay locked together: pan or zoom one and the other follows.

Choose how to compare

A mode switcher sits in the top bar (keys 1–4):

• Side by Side — a draggable slider that reveals one date over the other.
• Before / After — a swipe divider you drag between the two dates, or nudge with the arrow keys.
• Difference — a change heatmap. Unchanged areas read green and changed areas light up red, so new construction, cleared ground or moved material stands out.
• Elevation Change — where the ground rose or dropped. Blue is cut (lower), red is fill (higher), gray is unchanged. It needs elevation data on both dates.

The Overlay Opacity slider fades the heatmap against the map underneath.

Read the numbers

In Difference and Elevation Change, a Change Summary panel shows the percent of area changed and the changed area in square feet. For elevation, it adds the average and range of height change in feet.

It gives a Full extent figure for the whole property, and in Difference mode a Current view figure for what's on screen.

Save it and share it

Export the comparison from the Change Summary panel:

• PDF Report — a branded change report.
• CSV — the change numbers.
• GeoJSON — the changed area as a polygon for other software.

These figures come from drone mapping, for planning and tracking progress over time, not for legal or boundary decisions.
